There's something I like about this New England team and I predict a 28-21 win for the Patriots.

Yup and Flacco could have another great game on Sunday and the Patriot front 7 could play an below average game like the Broncos did.

If the deep ball works like it has against the Broncos, it will open up space for Rice and the Ravens will be able to control the time of possession.

That's definetly something I could see happening. Hopefully, as a Pats fan, the defense is able to take away Rice and our secondary holds up against the deep ball.

Pats hurry up offense is going to eat up the Ravens next week. This game will come down to the Pats defense because the offense will get their points.
Well, the guy is a teammate of Terrell Suggs after all...

Dislike these teams. Dislike the Harbaughs. Stupid NFL 2012-13. Screw you Patriots for making me root for Lewis/John H. and the rest of those cretins (by being even worse than those cretins).

Honestly, outside of maybe Richard Sherman, nobody talks more than the Ravens. Brady said in an interview this morning that they are just going to ignore the noise. That's the best thing to do and let your play do the talking on Sunday.

The fan in me: I hOpE tHe PaTs CrUsH tHe DrEaMs Of BaL aNd ThE nFc.

My Brain: Pats should win against the Ravens by 10. Baltimore's offense was top 10 and their defense was 12th. The 'Win it for Ray' thing scares me a little but I just like Pats talent more.

My evil tainted soul: I wonder if the Pats can crush the dreams of two HOFers; Lewis, Moss or Gonzalez?

Still cant decide if this guy or the d lineman on the dolphins is a bigger clown. He.was the guy who complained about the pats running the same running play too much and that it was bush league to run the same play consecutively

Since Ayanbadejo is just a special teamer, maybe he didn't think it was fair when Denver returned two kicks for TD's against him.

And predictably he was probably slapped on the wrist and has to retract his comments on twitter:

Quote:
The Ravens and Patriots will meet in the AFC championship game on Sunday, and on Monday, Ayanbadejo issued the following apology on twitter: "I made selfish comments on twitter last night that reflected poorly upon myself, my teammates, and the organization. For that I apologize."

If that's what it took to seriously re-injure Gronkowski's arm, I'm not sure I'm happy with the decision to clear him to play.

Yah completely agree. Especially since two weeks ago he barley used the arm when playing. Not a smart decision by the medical staff if you ask me.

Well, I think the unfortunate reality of pro sports is that the medical staff can't make these decisions completely independent from what the player (who is himself under pressure to be available) and management want.

It's also not exactly news that teams are pretty ruthless when it comes to player health. And we have so much focus on head injuries these days, it's easy to forget that players often get addicted to pain killers because of their backs/knees/ankles etc. and that such addictions can contribute a lot to mental issues as well.

Just like last year, I like both teams and wouldn't mind either one in the Super Bowl.

Patriots 27
Ravens 24

He obviously wasn't 100%. I think he rushed his return for the PO and this is the end result. Nut yeah maybe he shouldn't have played

It's a big loss and a healthy Gronk would certainly have helped against the Ravens but the Pats did fine without him for much of the season and still ended up with the #1 offense. They have enough dangerous elements upfront to gameplan without him. And judging by the game last night Welker and Hernandez seems to be on their A game so i'm not too worried about Brady lacking options

Hmm, 1-4 with my picks opening round and 2-2 yesterday (got wrong Ravens and 49ers got right Falcons and Patriots) I'm obviously not too great at this kind of thing but I will go out on a whim and predict a mild upset and pick the Ravens.

Baltimore comes in with an emotional hangover from the Denver game. There is no way they take down the methodical Patriots at Foxboro.

Ravens 20, Patriots 30

Balty gets some late garbage points, but this will be an easy one for New England. Pats will be better served using this week to prepare for Kaepernick's Niners in the Super Bowl.
