well when the Rangers play at home, Rangers get last change so Torts will just put the Gaborik line against those 2 bums that are worthless....

I wouldn't really count on Finley making the team just yet and if he does he would sit in the press box most times.

I guess the kids have off of school today.

The biggest asset is cap space. There has to be some teams facing imminent cap trouble looking to unload contracts. Isles have the room to take on a big cap hit, and as long as the player is good (no Redden/Gomez types), they have the draft picks and alleged prospects to move. Of course this requires spending money....

Wang is not going to spend money till we are in the Barclays which sucks but it's reality.

The positive on this season is that our prospects and younger guys like Nino had a chance to develop due to the lockout but it should of been due to our management (which has always and will be a big concern)

For depth reasons I like this pickup, keeps Bridgeport in good shape.
Would they be allowed to send him to BP? Wouldn't he have to pass through waivers again, and his original team can then re-claim him and send him down?

This guys huge!!!!

to BUF fans is he capable of playing as a regular #6 Dman in the NHL?

Mayby Isles want more competition in camp?

Im going to The isles open practice tommorow and scrimage on wed. I hope this guy is there..
No. The only reason he saw any NHL action last year was because we had like 5 injured d-men, including one or two call-ups that were ahead of him on the depth chart.
He's big and willing to fight, but he's a terrible skater and gets smoked in the AHL some nights. He can be a fairly solid shutdown guy in the AHL, but any team that has him playing regular NHL minutes is in big trouble, IMO.

i think he meant because it keeps other players in b port not because he would be in b port him self

chara wasnt very good until he was 25 or 26 either, get this guy a power skating coach and maybe he turns into something half way decent (me being overly optimistic)
