Why do I envision a scenario playing out where Visnovsky never shows up and his agent blames Bane for hijacking his plane and kidnapping him?

dam, I would have like him to play against the Rags, we can't afford to lose a third consecutive one to division rivals

Have a bad feeling about that game, the Rags are due to explode. This could be an 8-5 kinda game, both teams finally explode offensively. Hopefully playing at home, makes the Rangers nervous, and makes them squeeze the sticks harder.

I see a 5-4 won, isles were up 5-1 but let Rags creep back but we still get the W.

I just envision Snow getting a call at like, 5pm tomorrow from Visnovsky saying, "Oh, I dunno what happened...I arranged a flight to Jamaica, NY and I told them the airport was on an island...but they sent me to the wrong Jamaica. The airline said they'd send me back to Slovakia free of charge in a couple weeks, so..."

lol, that would be the best excuse ever as to why a player couldn't report to a team.

The Rags are a 1 line team. Hold that #1 line in check and we have a very good chance of outscoring them if we can sneak a few past Lundy, who has looked a bit off his outstanding normal.
3-2 Islanders in regulation. Grabs, Ullstrom, JT with the gwg.

Sweet! My guess is he's in the lineup against the Sabres.

Watch, he pulls an "oopsie-daisy" and slips and falls on some ice from the upcoming storm..."Owwww...my baaaack!!! I need my back brace...but it's in Slovakia...oh well, guess I'll have to go back and get it."

Hopefully, the isles to make the playoffs this season, but if the wheels fall off, we can at least get something back at the trade deadline.

This just in:

NYI discovers that it's not actually Visnovsky that reported, but a cousin of his that looks like him.

Will post a source soon!

Just kidding lol, but this would be hilarious

Yeah... he has an older brother, a forward playing on Slovan's farm team. What about getting him and sending Lubo back to us?

Vis quotes from Staples twitter from practice...seems like a good guy:

@StapeNewsday

Visnovsky is fully initiated to #Isles -- just accidentally drilled DiPietro in the mask with a shot. Rick's ok it seems.

Lubo Visnovsky on reception from #Isles: "I talk to Garth Snow, talk to coaches, talk to teammates and it was big surprise..."

"...to me how good to me, everybody excited to like me and everybody thinking I try to help this team. I was surprised."

And Visnovsky on what he might hear from #Isles fans tomorrow: "Big win, big win! That’s it." (He was kidding. Actual answer in next tweet)

Lubo: "I think (people) who know me, who understand me and who got a family, everybody do the same of what I do. For me, it’s family first."

More Lubo: "I try to help my son, my family and I stay a little bit longer at home. Thank you for this organization, they understand."
