The Ducks and ESPN hockey

I am playing as the Ducks in ESPN hockey and was curious if anyone else is playing the game in franchise mode and what their stats and line combos were....my franchise:

Record: 3-4-4-0

Line Combos:

Chistov-Fedorov-Sykora
Niedermayer-Rucchin-Prospal
LeClerc-Pahlsson-McDonald
Smirnov-Krog-Severson

Defensive Pairs:

Carney-Ozolinsh
Havelid-Sauer
Salei-Vish

Goalie Stats:

Giguere: 2-4-3-0 2.39 GAA .922 SA%
Gerber: 1-0-1-0 2.50 GAA .914 SA%

Leading Scorers:

Fedorov: 5G 2A 7P
Niedermayer: 4G 3A 7P
Rucchin: 1G 5A 6P
Prospal: 2G 3A 5P
Ozolinsh: 1G 4A 5P
Sykora: 2G 3A 5P
Chistov: 1G 3A 4P
Pahlsson: 2G 2A 4P
LeClerc: 1G 3A 4P
others with 3P and lower

Highlight: 1-0 Opening night shutout of Stars by Jiggy
Lowlight: 3-0 Loss to Nashville the following night

2 fights: L.Ward vs Vandenbusch and Vish vs Brashear (I lost both)

Just curious how others are doing if they are playing the game...my settings are:

All star level
20 minute periods that play like 6 real time

Sliders:

Penalties and Fighting in the middle
The 1st 4 sliders for fatigue all the way up
The last 2 sliders for fatigue in the middle

All other sliders unchanged

Just out of curiosity, what did the game do with players like Oates and Thomas? Dump them into a "free agent" area or not include them?

They put them in the free agent pool...I thought about signing one of them..or Johnson for reality's sake but I wanted to keep the payroll where it was and guys like McDonald and LeClerc are good enough in the game to hold serve or pop in a goal once in awhile on the 3rd line

I am in October in my season and already I have Rucchin, Salei and Pahlsson gone for 2-4 months. Day to Day injuries happen almost every game I play. I created some guys before i started my season like Burnett and Lupul. I'm playing on All Star also but i have changed many of the adjustments because I was having trouble scoring the first few games.

From what I hear, the Gameplay is better for ESPN Hockey, but the Franchise mode is better for NHL 2004. The way one person put it, if he was playing the game 2 players with friends he would play ESPN Hockey, but if he was playing the game alone he would play NHL 2004. At the moment all I have is Demos, so i can't play the franchise mode. right now I am leaning towards NHL 2004.

I am the Kings of course and I am 7-6-6

Alexander Frolov is out 2-4 months with a dislocated knee
Allison,Visnovsky and stumpel all have missed a few games

Trades:

To LA: Anton Volchenkov , Cristopher Neil
To Ott: Jaroslav Modry , Ian Laperrierre , Jens Karlsson

To LA: P.J Axelsson
To Bos: Aaron Rome , Yannick Lehoux , 3rd round pick

Line combos

Deadmarsh - Allison - Klatt
Axelsson - Stumpel - Palffy
Robitaille - Belanger - Brown
Norton - Avery - Neil

-- Norstrom --- Corvo
- Grebeshkov - Miller
- Volchenkov - Visnovsky

--- Cechmanek
--- Huet

scratched: Armstrong, Chartrand , Kuznetsov (cammalerri was pointless in 14 games)

I created alot of players (including Lupul, Holmqvist and Getzlaf)
from all around the league

Leading scorers

Palffy 9-12-21
Allison 8-10-18 (in 16 games)
Deadmarsh 7-9-16
Klatt 6-8-14
Axelsson -4-7-11
Stumpel 5-6-11
Grebeshkov 1-8-9
Brown 3-4-7
Robitaille 6-1-7

I took out Modano for 2-4 months

Im playing on all-star with the game speed turned down 2 notches and the penalties and fighting up 2 notches. im playing 7 minute long real time periods (so a PP is 2 minutes)

EA's NHL 2004 streeted today, but of course none of my local places have it on the shelves. One place is expecting it tomorrow, so I'll get it then at the latest.
