He will tackle the side boards and be off for a month.

What a total disappointment he was. A lot of us were pretty happy at acquiring him, but he didn't live up to the expectations.

I don't mind what he said. He's a competitive guy.

He is going to trip over the blueline and get a bloody nose. On the way to the bench as he steps in e pulls his groin. Trainer throws a towel at him to wipe up his nose and he will break his finger. Then as he wipes his face with the towel he will miss and poke himself in the eye. As he is walking to the dressing room to get changed since his night is done he will twist his ankle. While getting showered he will get water in his ear and get an ear infection. As he walks back out due to have a sore eye he will walk into a door and stub his toe. As he screams out a profanity in frustration he will pull his vocal cords.

I think that sums up his time in Toronto.

You know youre terrible when on a TSN t.v. Interview and it shows how many hits you had last season under your name.

If you could pass along a document with who will spend the next couple years injured to the Leafs that would be great.

So do we refer to Colby as "sloppy seconds"?

Are we supposed to be on his side when he says he wants to kick our ass?

We may not be a tough team but I'm pretty sure we can still handle Mr. Armstrong. Guy lost his physical edge YEARS ago. There was a time where it seemed like every hit he threw ended with a stretcher on the ice.

Now? Yeah, no.

Realistically, he'll probably score 2 goals against us.

I liked Colby, but he god his chance here and he was way too inconsistent and injured to make an impact and he shouldn't expect anything other than a buyout after his last season.

He's getting paid still, be happy.

Armdog was one of those guys that energized the team. The Leafs' record with him on the bench compared to when he was absent/injured was significantly better.

He isn't one of those guys that lights up the stat sheet but he is great at keeping everyone on the bench focused and fighting hard.

I think management felt that just wasn't enough. However, I like that they bought out his contract. He was going to be UFA this summer, and the buyout meant thathe stays on the books another year. Guaranteed he had income during the lockout in case he didn't find a team.

Habs saw something in him though. Ah well.

Hope he has a few more good years, and hope he doesn't hurt our team along the way. Best of luck!

You use the term "turncoat Leafs Nation" yet the only turncoat I see here is Colby Armstrong. Armstrong is a rat and a *****. Have fun with les habitants

Liked Colby as a person but everyone knows his issues on the Leafs, but this is pretty unnecessary. I hope we dress someone who can push him and Prust around.

I was going to say Subban and Colby would get into a fight because Subban generally fights his own teammates and Colby is one of the few guys in the league he could taked on

It's too bad Burkie hurt you guys by buying him out early. Could have been a free pass.
