MacDermid
Pandolfo
Tardif
Spooner
Caron
Sauve
Camper
even Cunningham ...

More than half the snow from the storm already gone at my house
I'm with you- I just want to see him on the ice and healthy and would take a healthy player for the next 2 months even if the trade off was guaranteed health vs you stay in Providence.

However, if he can play 10 games healthy I think he can get up there but agree with your list....lets see on April 27th who made it from Providence

I've said Knight, but I also think Caron, Sauve, probably Camper and Cunningham and some of those D get the call unless the Bruins are off the walls lucky health-wise

Knight apparently went to the doctor today ... Hoping he gets good news.

Looking forward to seeing him healthy and building where he left off in Junior.

Nightmare season for him thus far ...

@AHLBruins

"Niklas Svedberg's 21 wins ranks 2nd among #AHL goaltenders and 1st among rookie goalies. His 4 SOW ranks 3rd in the #AHL & 1st among rookies. Providence's POM in January, is 21-6-2-2 on the season. He has a 2.23 GAA and .924 save % in 30 games played. 22 wins ranks second in the #AHL. The Swede's five shootout wins ranks first among all #AHL goaltenders."

Just thinking about the future of Bruins goalies is brightening. Chiarelli really has some good finds recently, Khudobin as well , if the numbers translate.

Is Cassidy leaving the team short on D for the weekend by sending Button and Cross to Carolina?

A couple of P-Bruins newsbites per Mark Divver:

- Max Sauve of @AHLBruins is out this weekend and off skates til next week. Hurt his knee on Tues. night.

- David Warsofsky left in 2nd period w/knee injury, severity unknown. He'll have MRI tomorrow. Tommy Cross recalled, will be here tomorrow

Krug had 2 power play assists and was the #2 star. If he keeps this up he might help the PP in Boston next year.

He's had two concussions this year but after he came back from the second, as you say, he hasn't done much except for the scrimmage and a two goal night a few weeks ago.

Caron had a goal and an assist in that game which hopefully gets him going again.

Again?

Did I miss the first time he "got going?"

-------------------------------------------------------

Sveddy between the pipes again tonight. The Great Tommy Cross will be replacing the injured Warsofsky.

Aside from that, no roster changes and the lines stay the same.

So what happened to the 'fire cassidy' crowd? I think it's apparent Providence played poorly in recent years because Chiarelli drafted poorly. An Infusion of real talent (Spooner, Svedberg) turned the team around.

Watching tonight's game and will post some updates here...

No score early in the first...Camper with Caron and Cunningham tonight. Spooner has Florek and Tardif.

Cohen scores right after a PP for the Bs. Cohen making a case to stay up in Providence. Edit: Goal credited to Mink, Cohen gets primary.

Florek scores after some horrible defensive work by a D for Bridgeport. 2-0 Prov.

Robins gives the Bridgeport goalie a nice snow shower near the end of the period...

Still 2-0 early in the second. Providence has had nice pressure in the Bridgeport zone this period.

Bridgeport gets one off a faceoff, 2-1 in the second.

Cunningham takes a big open ice hit from McIver. A couple of Bs go after McIver but nothing happens.

Miller vs. Gallant...Miller hangs in there well-enough against a very tough (but overly cocky) tough guy. Gallant with the edge.

Bruins have an extended 5 on 3 now...I smell a goal coming up...

Tardif gets a PP goal. Did I call it or what?

Great work by Spooner prior to the goal. 3-1 Providence.

El Nino scores and makes it 2-1. Bs a little lax in their own zone on that one.

Backman beats Sverdberg from a weird angle, it's all tied up now. Svedberg seems a little off or tired tonight.

MacKinnon gets his 9th on the year. Mink gets an assist. 4-3 midway thru the third.

Exelby has been thrwowing the body around a lot tonight...he's pretty slow on his skates now but he's maintained his physical style of play.

Quiet night for Krug, but with some 4-on-4 time now...

Bridgeport appears to tie it on the PP, but it's ruled off, as the goal post was off its peg.

Bridgeport pulls goalie with 23 seconds left...

Krug banks the puck off the glass and it goes into the net...Krug keeps his streak going. 5-3 Bruins.

Providence has won 9 of its last 10 games...

Thanks Malt. As you said they are 9-1 in their last 10 games. They are the hottest team in the AHL currently.

With the win over Bridgeport they passed Portland to jump into first place in the Atlantic and third in the East.

It's been a long time since they have played this well.

Spooner had 2 assists and now leads the team with 10 goals and 27 assists in 40 games.

yah, I been curious to see how Ryan does after the Habs game. Ryan not only got a taste of the NHL he got a pretty good Montreal team in Montreal. Really, other than the playoffs what the heck could be more intense. The entire Bruins-Habs day of game feeling up there is something atleast the times I been and I'm sure it hasnt changed.

Ryan just needs 'at bats' as they say- reps....more games, the more he knows, the more experience he gets, the stronger he gets. He is confidence, experience, and maturity mostly physical from going up and playing a long time.

The Bruins PP with Hamilton, Spooner, and Seguin should be kicking ass for years. Good luck knowing where the hell those three are if you are a PK. Teams are going to suffer neck strains trying to figure out where Dougie, Ryan, and Seguin are

and Malt great job as always

Spooner is creeping up to the top 20 in scoring having played far fewer games than most ahead of him.
Also tied for 5th in rookie scoring with fewer games.

Think we'll see the kid up full time next year?

Providence wins again, beating Worcester 3-1. They are 10-1 in the last stretch and fifth in the 30 team AHL.

Caron with a goal and an assist. Hutchinson with the win.
