Exhibit A as to how hockey doesn't matter on ESPN:
Last night an ESPN program was discussing how the Detroit Pistons needed a hero citing the heroes on the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions and no mention of the Detroit Red Wings. All this despite the Red Wings probably being the most succesful team in Detroit right now.
After looking over a few difference predictions as well as my own knowledge, I think these predictions are very realistic and accurate.
Spezza - 50 points (should be a ppg and top 5-10 in scoring again)
Turris - 35 points (breakout season for him, leading to 60+ in a full season next year)
Michalek - 32 points (provided he can stay healthy of course)
Alfie -28 points (will get off to a quick start, than skip some games to rest for a playoff run)
Silfverberg- 26 points (top 5 in rookie scoring)
Latendresse - 23 points (not expecting more than that, would be a solid total)
Greening - 20 points (just like his 40 pts last year, he will quietly put up decent stats)
You realize that is a 34p pace for 82 games? If anybody is even close to 20 points in our top 6 barring injury, we are either getting Seth Jones or everyone on our top line has 1.5ppg or something haha.. Hell, I think Silf can even get 25 points, and thats as a moderate to fair prediction.

Well yeah exactly haha! And that's the bare minimum as far as I'm concerned... If someone doesn't reach that, I'd expect a good reason or two..
