Student rush games were awesome. When the Pens sucked, you could get Igloo Club seats for $20. And when the Pens got good and non hockey fans didnt' know about it, you could literally feel the floor move in some of the higher up sections when the Pens scored.

Same here. There's more empty seats than you see on the tv tonight. A lot of people left after the second.

I remember during the Cup run when the screen was out front, I'm walking up Washington Place and a pickup pulls up with a couch in the back of it, 3 guys jump out, 2 grab the couch and throw it on the lawn, one grabs a cooler, the other goes and parks the car. Those guys need to be sitting in the game.

The biggest thing that intrigues me about DJ is WHEN he scores his goals. I seem to recall on more than a few occasions up in the bigs he had some really good games, and scored some timely goals. Buffalo comes to mind for some reason. I find some guys just have that knack for showing up at the right times, even when they may have disappeared for a while. That bodes well for a playoff performer. I'm sure the organization knows this about him, they'll give him a chance yet!

Quite the first impression in a Pen's uniform for # 16.

DJ's a player, whether it's he or somewhere else. Smart player and he does all the little things right, just knows how to get the job done. Would like a spot for him on this team, but it's just tough. Where?

That was actually probably my biggest complaint about Staal. He didn't have good hands in tight.

I think Sutter may be good on that left wall of the powerplay.

If they need need Morrow on defense, he's absolutely ready. That's what I'll say. I just really hope he develops a fire like Letang has w/ a need to be angry and physical.
Ya as I've been saying, Morrow can play right now. But whenever they decide to bring him up it's cool.

But uh.... Morrow actually needs to be less of a hothead. Dude has anger issues.
