Keep them both, put Dupuis on L3. Trade Kennedy + D for a real top 4 D.

Kunitz - Crosby - Bennett
Tangradi - Malkin - Neal
Cooke - Sutter - Dupuis

Killer top 9.

MacIntyre almost created a turnover
Letang's skating is amazing
Zach Sill should be on the team

I wasn't ready for Sutter's speed there. He darted through the neutral almost like Sid does. That first step was so damn quick.

After one period of an intra-squad scrimmage? Yeah, don't go popping the champagne just yet.

I'll say Staal has more points but Sutter's role is very key for our team's success.
It was my off the wall part of my predictions. That said I did explain some basis. Pens were number one offensively by ten goals over the next team. Carolina was in the bottom half of the nhl in scoring. Staal will have more offensive opportunities. Sutter will be on a team built to score. A lot. A lot more than Carolina. It us unlikely. Off the wall. Yet could happen.

Bennett might have a real shot at making the team. Of course that means someone would be hitting waivers.

Oh yeah, me too, it was a great play. But then he went right around him again later in the period. But again, he's a good player, so not a big indictment against Despres. Letang was the one who botched it ultimately on that first goal anyway.

I can only listen to the audio stream, so I'm missing out on quite a bit.

I understand there are two extremes to this, but you can't help but be excited for a guy who WANTS to focus on shutting players down and also has that amount of explosive burst.

Despres has looked baaaddd. He needs to be getting time down on the baby pens instead of riding the bench. That teams purpose is to prepare these players not win games.

Skating real well. Looks good out there in that regard. Not a lot of touches with the puck so far though.

If BB doesn't make this team there is something radically wrong.

Steigy and Fleury in midseason form. Steighy announces Neal passing to Cooke on his goal(even though NEAL is righty and on the other team), then corrects himself. Fleury lets in a Softy!

He could be brought up when injuries occur but if we send DJ or Tangradi down they are gone for good.

Why is it assumed to be a two horse race for Malkin's wing? I think Jeffrey is in the mix.

Honestly, like a guy who hasn't played a lot of hockey in the last 2 years.
