Well if you're a current subscriber, they shouldn't bill you twice.

Does the NHL vault automatically come with GC?

Someone in this thread said Friday but xbox rep told me they had no current date so hopefully the person in this thread is right.

This is interesting. I'm really unsure on what to do at the minute... Might just use a VPN for ease.

Ok, I finally got the package added, the scr was actually helpful, he looked for the package for like 20 minutes and found it under pay-per view, not under packages or promos, thats what's probably giving many employees a hard time finding it. They should definitely reverse the charge for SSP and give you the promotional price.

Do any of the UK fans have GCL for this weekend to test the blackout situation? I had it last year but cancelled it with the lockout fiasco, would be interested to see what happens this weekend.

Hello - I am providing an update for all of those Rogers customers out there.

Today I was able to add NHL Centre Ice for $49.99. Mind you, it took 45 minutes for them to finally offer it up. At first they said it wasn't possible and I had to order the Super Sports Pack for $35.95/month. I asked them to go back and check it out. They came back and said no, sorry, we cannot offer it on its own. I then quoted the tweet sent out by a Rogers representative (I can't remember your name, but thanks to the poster who linked that!) that explained it was available. The rep then went back again (where do they go!?), and magically it was available.

Moral of the story is that persistence is key here, as either a) they want to promote the Super Sports Pack, or b) this offer hasn't been communicated properly through their organization (I am of the mind to believe the former).

Good luck to you Rogers customers out there!

How do you get 10% from Discover? Their cashback is usually 5%, the special categories are restaurants and movies, and NHL GCL doesn't appear in shopdiscover. Do I just punch in my Discovercard # in GCL billing and I'll get it?

BTW, as for quality, it is fine if you give it a couple minutes to properly buffer. It starts off a bit pixelated. I'm in NY on FIOS.

If theres any Aussies out there, GameCentre works perfectly fine here.
Im assuming its the same for all non-North American countries.

Get all game, all playoffs, all the time.

and questions hit me up.
Available on iPad, iPhone, Apple TV. not sure about xbox? havnt had to look. not sure about ps3 either. also obviously available through web browser.

interesting i updated the andriod gamecentre app yesterday and it comes up with the screen gamecentre live purchased followed by gamecentre premium purchased

i hope i am not going to be billed extra for this premium service i apparently purchased. Dont even know the amount i am being billed! The whole thing reeks of disorganisation and incompetence, if i get up at 7am on sunday and find i cant stream they will hear about it big time

For those in the UK, I got a reply just now - not good:

Quote:
Hello,

At this moment black out restrictions apply for Regular Season and Stanley Cup Playoffs + Finals for the following countries the United States, Canada and the UK.

In the United States games on NBC, NBC Sports and NHL Network will be blacked out

In Canada games on TSN, TSN2, CBC and NHL Network will be blacked out

Also in the United States and Canada, local market team blackouts apply on all games, you can find what teams you are blacked out for here http://www.nhl.com/ice/ziplookup.htm

In the UK games on Premier Sports will be blacked out. There are no local market team blackouts for the UK.

At this time no other countries have blackout restrictions. If you are still unsure of the blackout situation in your area, please let us know and we will be further assist you.

Thank You

NHL Support
Absolute joke.

Premier Sports bought the rights to show 15 games a week. Those 15 games a week will be blacked out.

Normally, I'd think people could understand if they were a national company but they're not. You have to have Sky to get them which cost money in itself and then subscribe to their channel which is even more money just to watch the games in SD quality. Sometimes they've cut away from games to show ****ing greyhound racing. ESPN showed games last year but they were never blacked out.

Looks like I'll be using a VPN this year and until their contract is running.

indeed. i'm gonna see how the weekend goes but then likely have to buckle down and find the best moderately priced proxy or VPN. if i can find a reliable service with servers in non-blackout countries that don't cap bandwidth or data, its not the end of the world. but im not too sure about that...
