Phil The Thrill part deux: Hasn't been so long, now.
Well, might as well continue the discussion here. I believe we were debating Phil vs Nash.
As someone who has followed Nash for years (die hard knights fan and I make it a point to follow as many of them as possible) I can honestly say a lot of his rep comes from his draft slot and being the big fish in a terrible terrible pond.
He is playing great. Those who say he is playing bad do not watch hockey at all. He needs a goal to get going but he is not playing bad. We expect a lot from him but keep in mind it is a shortened season, everyone is trying to adapt

He did nothing to create either of those goals. I mean, you were watching right. He happened to touch the puck shortly before the goal was scored, thus he was credited with an assist. Did he actually help make the goals happen...absolutely not. In fact on the first goal it happened despite his mis-pass on the 3-on-2 right in front of the net.
I am of course assuming you understand how assists work here. If not, cant help ya.
