3+ stints with one team

I was wondering how many cases there have been in the past, of players who have had three or more stints with the same team. As a Leafs fan, the two that come to mind for me are Wendel Clark and Yanic Perreault. Also, Benoit Hogue had three stints in Dallas. I know there are a lot more, though.

Is there any official database on this, or are we just going to share examples from our memories?

You're right on this one. Even if his last stint was 60 minutes long!

Hasek and the Wings.

'01-'02, parts of '03-'04, and '06-'07. Granted he didn't switch teams between the first two, but I'd say retirement counts.

Petr Nedved with the Rangers, and he almost had a 4th when the Rangers lost out on his waiver claim last season..

I have a feeling Rucinsky will have a 4th.. which would probably be a record.

I don't mean to take this beyond hockey but I know Rickey Henderson played with Oakland on four occasions and I think he is the only baseball player to do that.

so this officially completes the list?

Clark, Perreault, Hogue, Recchi, Tikkanen, Rucinsky, Hasek, Nedved, Robitaille, Norton, Miller, and all of the above?

Aww you spoiled it for me, I was going to mention Bergevin.

And hockeydb says Burke was with Montreal in 1927-28 too before being traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates, so if that's correct he had four stints with the Habs.
