Whats the asking price on an unsigned PK Subban?
Subban to me is one of the most interesting stories going into the season i like the guy and i don't know where he will end up i thought a deal would get done during training camp for sure but now i here they aren't close to a deal.
Where does he end up?
Drew Doughty signed late last year. Subban will sign with the Habs sooner rather than later. I doubt they are thinking of moving him at all.

I loved Lombardi's interview with Tencer. Saying that the key to the deals for Richards and Carter, is that these players are still on the early side of their primes, which is what made giving up those assets easy.

We're going to have to start giving up assets that we aren't comfortable giving up. Schenn and Simmonds were tough guys to let go, but the return was worth it. We should be ready for losing guys like Klefbom, or whoever we draft this summer with our 1st.

I do not seeing the Oiler's acquiring Arnott unless one of their centerman gets hurt... Frankly I am surprised that he is still out there..
You would think a team like the Canucks would of picked him up to help boost their centre depth issues..

Kings gave up Schenn and Simmonds and it paid off for the them. We gave up Matt Greene and Jarret Stoll and we still haven't found suitable replacements for them.

I'd like an upgrade on our second line center, but Connelly is not it.

Apparently he was a healthy scratch much of the stretch for the Blues and looked pretty done, so I imagine teams are waiting for need with him.

Something seems weird with his situation, almost like he does not want to play this year or he is asking for too much money..
34 point guy last year, 17G and 17As..

Different times though. We have a MUCH better roster going forward now than we did back then.

I would not say we need to start giving up assets.....he made those trades at the right time, and the result within a season was a Stanley Cup. We aren't a couple trades away from winning the Stanley Cup this year. There will come a time when yes we may need to.

The Kings underperformed for half of the season and barely got into the playoffs. But they found the right mix at the right time. But about halfway into the year, it was looking like Penner and Richards and Carter at certain points were terrible deals.

Neither Connolly or Arnott can play second line center, they are 4th line minute guys now.

The Oilers are not going to acquire Arnott because we the fans, and the media, ran him out of town years ago.

Why would he come back? That just seems very unlikely he would have forgotten what happened.

I don't really see this being a problem, anything could happen. Look at Comrie for instance..

But that being said I do not think they will get him either, just for different reasons..

If that's the case, then the Oilers signed Arnott

I'm going to be sad if Garth doesn't pick someone up off waivers today.
