We're having 10-15 cm in my area today. After a slow start, winter has arrived here.

Mah Gawd.

The windchill with the city buildings is ****ing horrendous. Not as bad as it would be in NYC, but still ****ing bad.

-31 with the windchill here right now. -39 by morning.

It's beautiful. Once the temperature increases to -15 or so, the outdoor rinks will be glorious.

The windchill here is has been hovering around 0 degrees Fahrenheit with it supposed to drop into the negatives tomorrow. I dont mind cold weather, just the fact of such a dramatic change in temperature. On Saturday and Sunday it was 55 degrees out, now a few days later it is 45 degrees colder.

I had to walk to the jobcenter this morning and the ice on the pavement was ridiculous. Nearly fell over around 10 times but because I'm a boss I didn't.

Reading about these temperatures in Canada, maybe I shouldn't feel cold

Though wait, what's -10 F in C?
