did the same thing when a player skates along the boards, pulls up on the half wall and throws it on net "STOCKEY!"

Agreed. I was at the Isles game and thought to myself, why aren't they playing Cogliano and Bobby Ryan?

Talk to me this offseason.

It won't be easy for you to get him, but I'm sure you can overpay for Hossa's services.

You misunderstood me Jeff. I have to decide if I'm going to break all my rules and just take him from you. I'm not trading for him lol

ugh, shootout losses are brutal, especially when the tying goal was scored with under a minute remaining.

I'm getting real annoyed with all of you. Not messaging your opponents. Not having your CPU enabled. These rules are in place for a reason. I dont want to have to temporarily boot GMs for not having their CPU's enabled. Its a pain in the ass and i'm not doing it anymore.

If i have to implement some elementary school "3 strike" rule then thats what i'll do. I'm not asking much guys. These rules are in place to make the league better. We're all adults here. A videogame league like this should be as smooth as butter.

Message your opponents and enable your CPU. I'll be going through each team on my schedule tonight during the double advance. Failure to have your CPU enabled and to message your opponents qualifies you as being inactive in this league and you will be removed.

I'm booting Washington and Anaheim temporarily.

Does that mean that we should just play Anaheim for this block, or will he be allowed to come back in before you advance?

Just had a win stolen from me by Carey Price. Any other goalie in net and this game is 10-1 for me. He made about 35 saves I think. Crosby and Eriksson 2 on 1 in OT, Crosby gets it over to Eriksson who has an empty net but Price dives across to make the impossible save, and MTL heads the other way and scores, kind of saw it coming though because **** like that happens irl a lot. Pleased with the way my season has started though.

worth noting that I had 8 penalties called against me. spent about half the game killing penalties...

rookie goalie Peter Delmas just put in a great performance against the Bruins, beat them twice in a row.

Habs go 5-1-1 this block after going 0-4 in the first block, in a playoff spot...hopefully the double advance treats me well.

I think I had about what 16 shots or more on the pp? Price stopped everything, he was unbelievable in that game.

just **** the bed against Benini (at least in the 1st game) He controlled the 1st game, and the score was 4-2 (Buff scored on his own net late in the 3rd) Fleury was alright but I definitely think he could have stopped all of those goals. The 2nd game was even for both of us (although it was 3-0 majority of the game) Anderson sucked the bag, and was pulled after allowing 3 goals. Fleury was much better although it will be a long season with Anderson as my backup lol.

Ha. I scored goals a variety of ways. From what I remember I had 1 or 2 of the "inside/outside deke goals" but scored both on breakaways.

I had one that could absolutely considered to be a douchy goal, not sure who scored it but someone skated around the offensive zone by himself, skating around 2 skaters looking like Kenny Woo and shot a slapper and scored.

There was the Barker one where I was on a breakaway, was deking and kind of ran out of room and Buff poked it in.

There was the one where Bobby Ryan was just chilling in the offensive zone, the puck dribbled back into the offensive zone, the offsides call was nowhere to be found and he scored.

Then there was the one where I was passing it around the offensive zone and it was tipped in by Cogliano off the slapshot. Was proud of that goal bc I never get those kind of goals.

I can see how you could say they were douchy. The way I see it, when I'm playing, every goal that isn't scored by me is douchy haha.

Yeah they were a variety which I liked, but for some reason I hated every one of them more than I would other goals and im not sure why lol
