Price is overpaid.

Let's be honest, I don't think it's unfair to suggest that you'd prefer Halak regardless of what Price does or is paid.

price is the better goalie. I would have just made a different decision when thinking about salaries. that's all.

How is it that a player as good as Vladimir Tarasenko slipped to 16th overall?
He's been rated the best player in the world not in the NHL, and in his first two games he looks like he could become a franchise forward.
Incidentally, he is exactly what the St-Louis Blues were missing ...

How is else? The nhl's stupid Russia bigotry which they like to hide under the disguise of the "Russian factor". Pure stupidity.

Blues have built an amazing team. Excellent trades, stellar drafting, and just wonderful product on the ice. They look to be good for years to come...

He looks sick, I watched the first period of the game tonight and he had goal and assist in the first period alone, he was flying out there

2-0 Sabres.
Ottawa looks good too.
2 teams that some people here were certain we could overtake.

The Leafs do not look good at all, they didn't look good outplaying us and they are even worse tonight. Obviously a lot can change after 1 or 2 games but there has been only one team who has looked worse than the Leafs so far for me, and you can guess which team that is...

Red Wings, the Blues were toying with them Saturday.

was lookin' at the sens line-up. murray has done an excellent job, really like how the team is put together. Turris is finally coming into his own, having spezza and Alfredsson as your mentor probably helps.

On paper the Wings defense is a complete joke so it won't shock me if that's a sign of things to come, but being outplayed by the Blues and the Leafs is a very different thing.

Funny what happens when you show faith in a player accused of character issues instead of chasing them out of town.

Ottawa is looking insanely good.
People who think Subban is in Karlsson's league need to get their heads examined.
As for Tarasenko, the Calder is his to lose this season. Especially on stacked team like that, he's going to put up serious points.

Offensively he's not.
But Defenseman are not judged entirely on their offense...
