Any Tim Tebow fans here?

First off, I'm a huge Tim Tebow fan, and I'm assuming there are some Tebow fans after all he is from Florida and did play for the UF Gators, anyone else a Tebow fan on here?

I graduated from UF this past May, was a student there since 2008, and have actually met the guy. I worked at one of the bookstores that serviced the University, so a lot of the athletes pop in or out to buy/sell books. Its a pretty cool way to have an informal conversation with a guy. I have also met Brantley, Driskel, Demps, Hammond Jr, and various members of the O-lines over the years.

That's awesome buddy, what did you study in UF? How was in person to talk to? What did you guys talk about?

Yes, I love him. Great athlete.

I hope he had a safe flight back from Ufa.

He might be a hell of a nice guy, I don't have a clue.

I do know that he sucks at playing QB in the NFL.

Went there 2006-2010, same years he did and arguably the best 4 years you could have possibly attended based off their sporting success. Had several mutual friends and know a couple of the more prominent guys listed above but from everything I've seen and heard, he's very much like he comes off on tv and is a really genuine guy. I wish him the best and hope he does find a way to make it. I already hated the jets prior to this yr and hate them even more now.

Tebow... he'll just bounce around the league until he can trick someone into making him the starting quarterback. Just like he did in high school.

I respect the guy, but I'm not a Gators fan and him going to the Jets certainly didn't help me like him more. I kind of feel bad for him as he had a great college career and now is probably not going to become anything in the NFL. Especially, playing with the pathetic Jets.

Dislike the Gators and Jets, but I have alot of respect for a man who stands up for what he believes in, especially in the face of unusual hostility towards faith. It's so weird!

You would be hard pressed to find many people who are hostile towards him because of his faith. The vast majority of that hostility is because of how he expresses his faith.

You mean openly? The same backlash Rocco gets? I don't understand. Where's the outrage for blatantly criminal, illegal, or immoral behavior from many other athletes? There is none. I'd prefer an upstanding, if outspoken, athlete any day.

Read up about colt McCoy. He does all the same stuff as Tebow, but doesn't throw it in everyone's face and make sure a camera follows him on every mission trip.

I agree. I am not religious (and I hope this doesn't turn into a religious debate).

I respect anyone who stands up for what they believe in, but I do not respect what Tim Tebow does. Although, the media doesn't help his case to be honest. He gets a lot worse of a wrap over what they've portrayed him as rather than what he does. He's still a bit of a clown though.

*Resisting the urge to post my true opinion here*

I'll just say that I agree with Catscratch.
