Toronto Goalie Situation

I have Reimer on the IR with Scrivens on my bench. I would rather take Reimer off the IR by dropping Scrivens instead of another player on my team. Is it safe to drop him? Or could this situation turn into a 1a 1b goalie tandem?

Obviously you can't predict Reimer playing terrible and losing his job, but if he plays somewhat close to his performance pre MCL sprain, will he be clear #1?

Also thought I'd add that there is a max # of pickups you can make, and I am near that #. So dropping him just to pick him up in 2 weeks I'd rather avoid!

You know, I was actually in the same spot as you. I had him on the IR and was just spot starting Scrivens when needed. Only reason I did that was because my other 2 goalies are Rinne and Howard so my need for a 3 goalie isnt as much as maby the next guy. As soon as Riemer came back I dropped Scrivens and took him off the IR. Im gonna go with Riemer because the guy is a stud and they have apot of talent over in Toronto and scoring goals shouldn't be a problem. I would go with Riemer. I think he will see more time then Scrivens will.

Who are your other goalies?

Fleury and Rask, as you said Reimer would be used for spot starts as well
