Meh, we'll see how Turris does with a full season under his belt on Ottawa.

Gagner has some better linemates too.

Good for both guys.

Yup.

Justin Schultz 1.00 career PPG
Roman Josi 0.28 career PPG

Anyway, Turris is the Cam Barker of his draft class.

Maybe if Gagner put up more points they'd be a higher scoring team.

Looks like 90% of the people in here missed that the poll question is "Who will have a better season?".

A near 50-50 split seems reasonable. I don't really see the need for everyone to attack the other team's player.

Gagner is so much better that half the Oil fans are putting him in trade proposals in the rumor thread.

just accept - any team would rather have Turris on their team than Gagner.

Ya.. But we aren't asking for Turris in return. Since we want to UPGRADE our 2C.

Well if Turris was so amazing, maybe he would be given more games to play in the NHL.

But Gagner has a better PPG in more games. I probably shouldn't have bothered to reply to the original comment at the top of the page, they are both comparable players, but posts like that one annoy me.

If RNH was 6'3 220lbs those threads wouldn't exist.

you're right. Oil fans are asking for star players and everyone laughs and says they don't want your scrubs.

oh, they still would. i've seen a lot of Gagner + for Subban.

of course, the '+' was never one of Hall, Yakupov or Schultz.

So if a couple Oiler fans said this at one point, that means half the fanbase? Alright..

Most logical Oilers fans recognize we have no one to replace Gagner if we trade him, unless another center comes back the other way.

Why would we add to Hall/Yak when they have more value than that headcase Subban?

A little slump to Schultz, and our 7th d-man is looking just as good!

Applying that logic, Justin Schultz is one of the worst defencemen in his draft class.

Funny because when Sens fans use PPG to show Turris has been great in Ottawa we get laughed at.

Dude. Turris played on the 4th line in Phoenix for like 70% of those games. Don't give me that crap about PPG. He wasn't given a real chance until he came to Ottawa.

considering the number of Gagner + threads - i'd say it's much more than a couple.

why even make proposals for Subban if he's such a headache? Oilers feeling generous in wanting to take our problems now?
