Remember just a few weeks ago when all we could post about were two older gentlemen bickering. Now we find ourselves in a PGT again. Here we go boys! I don't know about you but its been a long 9 months. ::insert some joke comparing lack of avs hockey to labor pains::

Can't wait. Gonna be exciting to see Parise and Suter's first game with the Wild, seeing Landy with the C, and hopefully Parenteau's first game will good too.

3-2 Wild

Ok why does it say that NBC will be showing the Chicago-L.A. game for me...?

Is it like this for anyone else?

Considering the Wild's home record on opening night, and considering the Wild's record on Hockey Day, and considering this is the first game in a Wild uniform for Parise, Suter and Granlund - all wanting to make an impression on the home crowd, and considering the pent up excitement from the fans that will create HUGE energy in the building for the home team...

I'm not worried.

Lot of pressure, also a lot of reaons for Avs to be pumped up to play spoiler. I remember Avs home opener after retiring a jersey.. they got shut out.

10-0-0-2 in home openers at the X. Including a division banner raising opener.

Well the Avs haven't lost a single point in away-openers since 05-06.

The fact that they haven't played any since then is not relevant

So last year the avs were second youngest in the league now we are 16th how the heck does that happen in one year?. I guess everyone got a year older and adding zanon didn't help. Still seems crazy to me.

Parenteau is almost 30 years old too. Perhaps they don't count Comrade O'Reilly too.

I did such a terrible job of holding out. I had said to myself during the lockout that I didn't care anymore. They didn't deserve my attention or $$$. Here I am on day 1 of the shortened season, center ice ordered, pumped about the 13 game slate. I was weak.

I don't really get why we don't have games all day. Other than the playoffs, this will be their best tv day all year. Why not have at least one game starting at each 1,4,7, and 10?

not sure , it's fun right now , but soon they will ask to get their own drawer . Then it's half a closet , without any warning you will fiind out that they will pay half the rent ... and boom!! You're in a relationship and you didnt see it coming
