Been on a Rocky kick as of late. As bad at the fifth one is, it never gets old seeing Stallone kick the crap out of Tommy Gunn at the end.

The Yellow lab I got the family for xmas is definately a snorer. Its probably why he always passes out on the sofa with me. We can't wake each other up

Haha I just popped 6 in. I own it, but I don't think I've seen it since in the theaters.

What did you think of the last one, Rocky Balboa?

As awful as Sly looks in 6, I thought it had one of the better scripts to it. I really enjoyed it start to finish.

I remember liking it when it came out. I think they get campier as they go. To me, the second one was very effective in that it felt like an extension of the first. The third and fourth ones are both pretty silly, even with the deaths of Mickey and Apollo.

The fact that the sixth one exists just speaks to the fact that Hollywood is all but out of ideas. I saw that they're making Terminator 5 too =/

I like that in Expendables 2, Sly, Arnold and Willis poke fun at themselves and how ridiculous the action genre has become.

Agree with 1 and 2. Amazing movies that really just blend into one long film.

3 got a little over the top with Hogan and Mr T, but still good.

I loved 4 though, might actually be my favorite of all of them. "YOU CAN'T WIN!!!" Then Sly goes out for a joyride to the tunes of "There's no easy way out. There's no shortcuts hooooome" with a phenomenal bass groove. That movie is great

They're all pretty cheesy and cliche ridden, but I really dug the last one, personally. I thought they did a great job tying it back to more of the feel of the first 2 movies, which was a good thing. The killing off of Adrian was pretty surprising, but even then, they did a good job of making her character an important piece of the story, even if she wasn't in the movie. Overall, I thought it was a great ending for the series, but my fear is that Stallone will go back to the well yet again...

Haha I watched 3 and 4 last week. Needless to say, I was rocking out to Eye of the Tiger, Hearts on Fire and No Easy Way Out at the gym all weekend

OK, so typically I will change the channel right before that. The rest of the movie though, bad ass.

Of course there are a ton of better lines. The line about change is cliche and poorly written drivel. But it's a staple of all Stallone written stories...

The best is the beginning of that movie "Cobra". The bad guy says he's going to blow up a whole grocery store, and Stallone says -

"Go ahead... uhhhh I don't shop here-uhhhh".
