Brooklyn selects Boog Powell - 1B/OF.

Solid power coming off the bench from this former AL MVP.

The Pittsburgh Crawfords are pleased to select The "Toy Cannon", OF - Jimmy Wynn. Blessed with a rocket arm, Wynn was also a tremendous combination of power and speed who had the misfortune of being the best player on some very bad Astros teams during their early years. Once acquired by the Dodgers, Wynn had arguably the best season of his career finishing in the top 5 in MVP voting, though his Dodgers would eventually end up falling to the mighty A's in the World Series.

- 3 Times Top 5 in WAR

- 4 Times Top 5 in OBP%

- 3 Times Top 5 in Runs Scored

- 3 Times Top 5 in Homeruns

- 3 Times Top 5 in OPS+

- 4 Times Top 5 in OF Assists (Led League 2x)

- Top 15 CF all-time according to JAWS ranking

The Chicago White Stocking use their two skipped picks on:

C - Javy Lopez
...a huge bat coming off the bench, Lopez will be a huge part of the White Stockings substitutes. He hit 20 or more homeruns six times and was able to pass 40 once as well, along with a career batting average of .287...

2B - Bid McPhee
...a Hall of Famer from the 1800s, Bid McPhee was well known as one of the best defensive players of his time. In addition, it is believed he stole over 500 bases during his career and even led the league in homeruns on one occasion...

I've been skipped three times? A pm would have been nice.

I'll take Kerry Wood as my sixth starter/long reliever

I can't speak for Big Poppa Puck, but I never missed a PM to you. Regardless, it's good to see you back in the draft.

25 players + 1 manager. 8 starters, 5 starting pitchers, the rest you decide on bench players and bullpen guys.

The Pittsburgh Crawfords are pleased to select RP - Tom Burgmeier. A lefty who threw a significant amount of relief innings, Burgmeier will serve as the Crawfords middle inning lefty reliever out of the pen. After spending the bulk of his career as a setup man, Burgmeier made the most of his chance to close for Boston in 1980 saving 24 games with a 2.00 ERA en route to his only appearance in the All-Star game. underappreciated for most of his career, Burgmeier unfortunately never had the opportunity to pitch in the postseason.

- 5 Times Top 10 in Games Pitched

- 3 Times Top 10 in Saves

- 2 Times Pitched over 100 Innings out of the bullpen

- Held Left Handed Batters to a career .225 Batting Average (over 1700 AB)

Indians select SS Dave Bancroft

Basically he'd one of the best fielding shortstops to ever play with 23.5 career defensive WAR.
