You can't even call it a battle. What are the last 20 games, like 16-4 in favour of the Flames?

Flames win but it will be close this time both teams battle for the playoffs.

The past is a wilderness of horrors. Never look back.

Teams trending in the opposite directions...slow and aging and boring Calgary slowly getting worse each year versus the up and coming young and exciting Oilers though granted it will probably be a couple of more years before the Oilers are in the playoffs but at least they are going in the right direction......

Shortened season with the Oilers really capable of a hot start and the Flames kind of notorious for slow ones.

If it was a full season, I would have probably gone the other way.

Oil look good in the future, but not quite there yet.

Its going to be closer this year, I expect the Oilers to win the first, maybe first couple meetings. Oilers are coming in warmed up and the Flames are slow starters.

I think the Flames still end up higher in the standings but it will be close.. Flames 10th, Oilers 12th maybe.

The Oilers "win" with a 14th place finish just narrowly beating out Calgary and some paraplegics from Antarctica

Flames are under rated, they will easily finish above the preschoOilers.

Oilers come 14th, Flames come 15th. Then the Oilers win the draft lottery and steal Mackinnon from the Flames.

I see the Flames as this year's Coyotes, they should win this.

Classic.

Seems like everyone "analyst" has been picking Oilers. I think Oil will be 9th and Calgary 11th. I am a Oilers fan though.

Calgary.

They have far better defense and goaltending, and the gap in offense isn't that big(yet).
