Nice to see the support guys / abuse-heaped targets like Ward and Wolski on the board early in the year.

If there's a legit penalty, there's no embellishment. What ********.

Embellishment assumes there's something to base it off, so it's just the opposite...

Ribeiro and Carlson the best Caps. With Ward and Chimmer.

Is it me or are Wolski and Fehr the same player? :p

I'd really love to see Wolski rejuvenate his career here. Good start there.

What's up with Ward, did he get a hold of a Lance Armstrong cocktail.

Aside from 27/74 the core guys have been largely no-shows outside of the early PPs.

Thanks, Marty.

Hooberdoo has three points in his Panthers debut. Semin has spread his cancer quickly.

Got love before that goal by Wolski, Ribeiro had a stick right in his gloves, referee looking RIGHT at it and no call.

Ovi looks completely lost at RW. Why don't our coaches simply let him play his game? It worked for BB.

I know that's what the rule means, but IMO there's no need to call something like that when theres a penalty. Those kind of subjective penalties don't belong in the game.

That was another awful Wolski turnover, but Ribeiro saved his ass with that strip at the blueline to set up the goal.

Maybe Halpy was right, every game is a playoff this year

He is clearly driving the net. I dont remember seeing that in the RS a year ago. I would move him up to Ribs right.

Ovie asked to play RW. Gotta give him a chance.

Yeah. And he plowed poor MJ in the scrimmage.

But its 2 periods in - 15 minutes TOI, we need to give it one full game. Ovi said he never played RW before... now. No preseason games either.

Ovi wanted to try it, and Oates was willing. If W and WW keep scoring it sure helps him buy time with less pressure to win the game by himself like years past.
