Might it be possible that when Bailey is healthy and Visnovsky gets here that we keep only 7 D? I get the feeling that, as much as I always liked Martinek, he is just insurance but past his prime. Just guessing but adding in my two cents, i wouldn't be surprised to see both Finley and Martinek gone, and our D looking like this.

Hamonic AMac
Streit Viz
Carkner Strait

Hickey

although for fun, I might like to see

Hamonic Viz
Streit Strait
Carkner AMac

Hickey

With Vis I would go:

Hamonic-AMac
Streit-Strait
Vis-Carkner

Give Visnovsky top pp time as well. This is a condensed season, I wouldn't want to be giving anyone 25+ minutes a game. With the way Strait has played so far and adding Visnovsky the team has a chance to roll three solid d pairings.

I would go with this. This gives the Isles three legit pairings, and a chance to sneak into the playoffs.

That's my guess to start and then see how it goes from there. Cap can always juggle them later and that will keep Hamonic and A-Mac a little fresher.
