I really dont see how obviously TROLLING the Canuck fans on the Luongo thread is really necessary after one game .

He looks bad imo, definitely not a top 10 goalie.

To be honest, the fact that you and Vankiller Whale are being so classy about this is making me feel bad at laughing so hard at your misery. Just a bit though . It'll be alright, give it a week and you guys will be laughing at us again.

This basically sums it up. The ones not laughing at the current situation are actually the ones who are taking it too seriously. Everyone else is pretty damn aware that this was just one game. It was a hilarious turn of events; nothing else to do but laugh about it.

It's rumored that Vancouver is willing to trade Luongo to Vancouver, but they are holding out for a top prospect and a first round draft pick. I mean, come on, it's only one game, but this is funny.

NO WAY Vancouver is getting Kadri or Bozak! Gillis is delusional.

We'll take Luongo and your next 2 1sts for Tyler Bozak. Or Luongo + 1st for Connolly. Any deal will do.

Don't even want Luongo or Schneider tbh. Would rather go after another teams back-up if we had to.

Toronto is going to be fine. They are on the road back to success. It will not be an overnight fix but it will be fixed.

No point in giving away young highly skilled 1st round picks/prospects for a washed up goalie with a bad contract.

Toronto is the 2nd youngest team in the NHL. Why would they give away the future pieces of the franchise.

Was nice to see Kadri and Bozak score tonight. We have some great young players to look forward too.

Getting away from Vancouver and the media there will actually be good. Let them go on the road and sort things out. If the Canucks have problems vs the Oilers and Calgary, then yes, there is an issue.

Either way...the main boards will be fun the next couple days...
It just creates a media circus that's all. Make no mistake, there will be numerous articles tomorrow talking about this, so will the radio stations and there will numerous requests for interviews on the subject with management.

It's a distraction and a headache and I'm sure Gillis and his team would rather not have to deal with.

I was at the last Leaf game Ron Wilson coahed when the entire building shouted Fire Wilson at the top of their lungs. When the fans speak, people notice.

I was already prepared for losing after the Habs. Ya guys ***** slapped both my teams tonight.

You have to laugh at these things though. Contrary to popular opinion, I do actually hope the Leafs succeed at some point, whether with Luongo, Scrivens or whoever. How I see it, we both have an enthusiastic fanbase and yeah, that is going to spill over into any trade discussion.

Tonight though, was comical in it's irony. Like BayStBullies said, you have to be able to laugh at that or you need to lighten up.

I said after the 2nd day of Training camp Lu should have been given this game. That way if this bad still happened, it would fuel the fire, or had he stole the game it woulda really fuelled the fire.

Very ironic that Jose Theodore and Ben Scrivens absolutely stood on their heads while Schneider and Luongo were moving around like a bunch of drunken sailors. That being said, I expect that they'll turn it around next game. I think the reality is, this game would have been terrifying for Vancouver fans if Luongo had already been traded. On a side note, am I the only one who noticed both Theodore and Luongo were wearing equipment that looked like it was representing they are prepared for a move. The ol' black and white pads.

Was at the game tonight. I lou'd the hell out of Luongo when he came into the game out of respect for his time here.

He could be traded anytime so that was our thanksto him.

Washed up goalie with a bad contract? TOR is going to be fine? Road back to success? A lot of things wrong with this post.

One game in the books, and on the season goes. Let's see how both teams hold up.

OTT has good talent on their team.

Like I said, 48 games will tell us what we need to know, not 1. Onto the rest of the season.
