so funny to listen to the idiots in this thread. You do realize he was screened by two players and never saw the puck, correct?
Yes but why lean out and look to the right there? Makes no sense.

Tilt his head left.
Nice to hear that goalie screens are so easy to combat: "just look around them." Amazing advice. I wonder if the goalies themselves have ever thought of this?

Is Crawford supposed to look left on that goal? Not sure how much room there was on the right.

What's he supposed to do there again?
Use the Khabibulin X-ray vision; that's what the eye twitch is right?

This game isn't over yet. A lot can happen in 20 minutes.

Crawford has played great..regardless of the sightless goal...any poster can SPIN it however he wants too...Hawks 4-1 goin into the 3rd...the negative nanices don't really have much material besides the goal and the missing shaw....its still laughable that these issues are brought up as complaints...

Now if the Hawks lose this game...then we can all dive into the DOOM of the hawks...

it's not everyone. There is a small, but very vocal minority of people *****ing in every thread. You're right that it gets old.

Right or left. He looked right, puck was left. Im not freaking out about it, but it is was it is. He has played fine for the majority of the game.

If that goal happened on Quick then everyone would be like..."wow...Quick is not even at fault here.. what was he supposed to do??"

Just like how earlier people were saying that of the FOUR goals...none were Quicks fault. If any of those happened to Crawford it would be Armageddon.

It's hard to give Crawford the benefit of the doubt after last season & the playoffs.

Maybe a little hard on him. It was a great shot.

Hawks fans have been thru a rough sled from 95 to 05....hence the negativity that dominates this board....

But don't get me wrong, we have a great hockey club, currently one of the best in the NHL...its just some of these posters who are diehard lived thru those days...can only see the doom..

GO HAWKS!
I've been a fan since 1990. I've lived through that as well. I think sometimes people shouldn't immediately post after something and take time for it to sink in and at least view the replay. I've been lurking for years here and some posters are so flip floppy with their posts it's absurd.

Watching the Senators/Jets game on Center Ice during intermission. Anyone know why it's not in HD?

His recent track record isn't much to speak of, but you're right, too soon to jump on him.

Exactly. Of course there are fans that aren't giving him much slack. Thats to be expected after last season.

Exactly

After the pathetic play by him in games 3-4 of OT and overall last year he doesn't deserve benefit of the doubt

From what I've gathered, that seems to be the norm for a lot of US residents when watching games in Canada. As far as why, I have no idea.

There wasn't any room for subjectivity in that shot. He was screened by two players and there was no way for him to get to the puck. His positioning could have been a little better, but ultimately it wouldn't have mattered.

People here always need a reason to ***** and moan, so much so that some will manufacture absolute ******** to be pissed off about.
