Great day today.

- Got out of work at 2pm
- Picked up a new pair of workout shoes to help the plantar fascitis
- Snagged a new PS3 controller and iPhone charger
- Swapped my black stick tape for white and had a great game overall
- Lost 6-1 but had an assist and was a +1
- Felt better than I have in months on ice thanks to the workouts
- Gave my kid his skates and he can already stand and balance on them
- Eating lean pockets and drinking a long island...mmmm...

I'm off to sleep for an hour or so. Then I have to wake up in time to make all the usual morning stuff before leaving for the WJC premiere game in Helsinki. I'll be there at noon to meet with first one of my friends at the bus stop and then we'll go and meet up with another HF Wild member. Should be a good day and excellent hockey.

Do you write songs?

I've been using a lot of my free time composing nowadays. My brother got himself a workstation and it's been so fun when you can pretty much write a whole song just with that and a guitar. I gotta learn to play the piano better tho.

I'm getting myself a bass too; Fender Squier vintage jazz bass. I think it's good value for its price.
