A Vancouver player was right there, if he sent that pass he would have intercepted it and skated out of the zone pretty easily. That shot was better then anything else he could have done.

Teemu says "he wasn't feeling good today".

Wonder what he'll be playing like once he feels better!?!?!??

No, Bonino actually made some nice defensive plays tonight. Plus, he may be on the flu list for all we know. I'd prefer to sit DSP and play Holland Rakell Beleskey as the 4th line.

Bonino kind of picked it up later in the night. He actually had a very Getzlaf-like pass late in the third to a trailing Ryan that was almost a really nice play... I think he just needs some time. Meanwhile, Rakell is reminding me of how Macenauer started off the year last year.

Teemu needs another 4-5 games to get going.

I can't wait to see when he's in game shape!

He was eventually but there was an open lane for a good second before hand.

After the last year and a half, this felt really ****ing good.

I want Rakell to stick around a little longer.

As an outside fan who watched this, I thought his his own zone, that Palmieri looked like a RW playing LW. He seemed to be working against his instincts in zone coverage. The same was true, at times, in the offensive zone, but that's not as important.

Selšnne can do it all, 67% at faceoffs tonight. They don't need a new second line center, just put Teemu there!

Great game overall, even though Sbisa and the kid line were lost and outplayed etc. for awhile they all got their stuff together and played nicely in the end. Bobby was pretty invisible, noticeable only when he hurt himself few times. Bonino needs to work his game. Also I can't wait till Holland gets his chance to shine, maybe try him with Ryan and Selšnne?

Anyway, thanks NHL for coming back and thanks Anaheim for my birthday present. I'll be going to be now, its 8am here and I have slept like max 3 hours.

Souray is the guy that no one here is talking about, but I thought he played one hell of a hockey game. Him and Fowler are going to be fun to watch on the PP this year.

This. I think he can be the Rucchin to our modern day 8 and 9. Also, I can't remember the last non-playoff GDT that went this long. Go us.
