The move Rakell did three minutes into the 3rd period was nifty. Came really close to scoring as well.

i just spent a bit of time looking at the box scores last night for team's 4th line minutes. 10-11 isn't bad at all for a 4th line shift. and he got all those minutes playing ES if i remember correctly, cause he wasn't on the PP or the PK.

Rakell looked pretty good. But I don't know that he looked good enough to stay.

It's a lot like with DSP last year. I'd say he looks good enough that he could fit in and not be a negative. But he also isn't really good enough to be much better than any replacement we could plug in. And going down would probably be better for development long term.
