The torch has been passed. Nice run guys, it was epic.
One division title and you're really feeling yourselves. Good for you guys, glad to have the Notes back as they've always had strong fan support when they've been competitive. The Hawks have actually won a Cup and will have something to say about pecking order within the division I'm sure.
Hoping for a good game from Brunner tonight! It will be tough for him, he has to learn that this is not the NLA; he has less room and everybody will be going for the hit when he comes flying down the wing. I almost expect him to run into a big hit in the first few games, but if so it will be a lesson for him.
It will be difficult but I think he can do it, hope he will leave a good impression.
Are you one of them who actually look in the GDT's to find out lines etc?
It's eye candy mostly for the first post but helps it if you at least have good information. Plus, it's easier to have the lineup in the first post so you don't have to dig through every page. Of course, the lineup info didn't come out until midday today nor did the final rosters get posted by NHL.com until noon.
Game day baby! Blues are going to be a tough first game but I believe the Wings can win this one on the road. Eager to see what Tootoo does tonight against a big, physical team, and in their house no less. This game is a huge first test for these Wings, and I'm stoked that I get to watch it. Theoretically that is, if Game Center doesn't crap out. It's working on my laptop, but not on my 360 or tablet (boooo, hiss).
Off topic, and maybe I missed it, what happened to Joey Mac?
He's on IR right now for his back, but once he recovers he will most likely be waived. If he clears waivers, he may play for GR or Toledo. He wants a trade but I don't know who would want him. I like J-Mac, but the guy can't seem to catch on anywhere but those are the breaks, I guess.
