Nashville closing in on the Stars in the 2nd with their 3rd goal. 4-3.

Those uniforms are ugly as sin.

Holy ****ing ****, that moron Olczyk has lost it.

So Carcillo takes a late run at Yakupov, and Yakupov, for whatever reason, ducks. Olczyk says "that's dangerous!". I'm like, 'yeah, that's right, Yakupov could have accidentally gotten hit in the head, he needs to keep himself safe.' BUT, Olczyk was worried about how Yakupov ducking could be dangerous for CARCILLO, because Carcillo could hit his face on the glass. He then ranted on about how Yakupov should get a penalty for ducking, instead of absorbing the hit to protect Carcillo.

The best part is that Yakupov scores about a minute later, when he should be serving his 'Ducking' penalty.

And then he shows disbelief that Toews could possibly get a penalty.

Toews is never at fault. Ever.

Nash-Dallas 4-4 going into OT. Dallas just moved one point ahead of the Sharks.

Nash just picked up the extra point. 48 seconds into OT.

Over the summer, Edmonton fans were trying to convince me that Petry is the next Duncan Keith. I don't see it.

I know the Blackhawks haven't lost a game in regulation but I'm not buying that they are a juggernaut. The 2010 Blackhawks were a juggernaut. This is the same team that has finished 8th and 6th the last 2 years and have lost in the 1st round both years. In the games they have played against the Sharks, they haven't made me go "Wow! This is one of the best teams I've seen". Emery also didn't look fantastic against us. We just couldn't get to the rebounds against him.

The Kings are still the best team in the league. Hawks are top-5 with Vancouver, Pittsburgh, St. Louis.

Grabner almost scored there on a breakway. Would be nice to have a threat like that.

I wish teams would giftwrap those turnovers to SJ.

That's Grabner's specialty. He gets a million breakaways and never scores on them.

Thornton would just peel off to the half boards and then turn it over.

That would be a million more breakaway chances than we even get.

So our former draft pick Charlie Coyle threw a late, dirty hit on Stajan. Dunno where he got that nastiness from. You can watch the vid from the main thread.

I'll probably get a bunch of ****, but better here than the main boards.... that was a total dive by Stajan.

Late hit and unnecessary... but that was worthy of casting Daniel Day Lewis.
