He is likable, but he is so limited. You have to shelter a guy like that. I'm happy he's in the NHL but I'm happy it's not on the Avs.
Please, tell me your not going to judge a player based one ONE game. The guy is not just a dangler, he can make plays and put the puck in the net. He's not afinigonov, he's not all flash and no substance.

I honestly think if this kid was 6 feet tall, everyone would love to have him and there would be no issue.

Do you think today was the first time I saw Ennis play hockey?

I know you've seen him play before from reading your previous posts but the way I read it, it seemed like your generalizing his game based on this lone one.

You call him a dangler but he's more than that. That's all I'm trying to say.

I said he was a good passer and he's fast. His first assist today was an excellent pass. And I agree that if he was 6 feet tall people would like him more. But he is probably 5'7 and weighs 140 pounds. That is a huge handicap at the NHL level no matter how you look at it.

With Sgarbossa, Smith, Meurs, Bourke and Hishon as small forwards with offensive upside, it seems we're petite enough as it is. Unless they all bust of course.

4 of the 5 players you mentioned haven't seen NHL ice and the other has to even score. Passing on a player of Ennis' caliber because of players like smith and Bourke is dumb. Kinda like passing on Carlson because you have Elliott or Barrie.

Anyway, I'm done defending a player that will probably never be an av. Buffalo are happy to have him and he'll be a 70 point first line forward for them for years to come.

Flyers are 6-8-1. I think Ed Snider is starting to get that itch again...

Wanted to be a 3rd line center which he funnily enough would be for Avs right now if he stayed

I feel so sorry for Sens fans. They are, as expected, a completely different team without Karlsson.

What's worse is zbad has played next to nothing and the only time I've noticed him is when he took the goalie interference penalty. Atleast he's 6"9.

Zack smith is a G!

Flyers lost some scoring depth and replaced it with a bunch of McLeods. Then add in losing scoring depth with injuries and you have a team like ours, at least Bryz has looked great.

They need to stop taking assists away from Kunitz.
Either that, or ESPN fantasy tracker needs to stop being wrong about who gets the assists.
Every Pitts goal has, at one point, had an assist from Kunitz. Now only one does

Both Buffalo and Philly are 6-9-1. It's basically panic time or give up on the season.

With both teams having owners who are very rich and treat the teams as vanity projects, who knows what will happen. A year ago it looked like Philly was set for years, but now the defense is thin and none of the youngsters have taken the next step. They might be in for stormy weathers.

I hope we'll start seeing some trades soon. A distraction from, you know, Avs losing.

Keith is starting to look like Norris Keith, at least offensively.

I've been impressed by Kruger this year. He'll be a solid bottom six guy for them.
