Must admit I was completely wrong about Fedor Tyutin. Dude's playing fantastic hockey right now--didn't like him as a Ranger. That said, I knew flipping him for Nik Zherdev wasn't going to work out for the Rangers.
Marc Methot for the Sens just went down awkwardly. Their players must've caught the Avalanche injury bug.
Columbus on a 7-0-4 run, thanks to Bobrovski ... and to think, he only cost the Jackets a 2nd and two 4ths.
Flyers are idiots when it comes to goalies. I realize Bobrovsky had a weak playoff and said something weird about not feeling comfortable with the pressure but he's a young guy. Surely you can have him as a backup even if you get Bryzgalov, especially when plan B is Leighton and Boucher.
Go Nashville, down three with a couple to go and they are now down one with more than a minute left...
Some very candid quotes from Trotz following the game:
“We have a good goaltender, we have to play good defensively. I know some guys are playing over their heads, some guys quite clearly can’t play at this level, that’s plain and simple, but we’re going to sort that out and go from there. Some guys, I’m not happy with their game, they have to give us more. And I can go top to bottom, there’s some guys in that locker room who can give us a lot more, and that’s the part that bothers me.”
