So I'm officially hooked to The Following.

Also almost don't with our current Netflix show. So I need suggestions of what to watch next on Netflix.

I remember going with my Grandma when I was younger (so very true about your statement). It was also soooo smokey in the bingo hall that my eyes would burn by the end. But I loved it anyway. Especially the bingo dobbers. I loved the bingo dobbers.

Years ago when I was still did the volunteer fire fighter thing, I used to call bingo. This was before the smoking ban, so I'm sitting on this stage, looking at this cloud of smoke covering half the room. I couldn't wear my contacts the nights I did it because I'd have to throw them out right after.

The most fun were these 4 ladies that were there every week. Sat right in front of me, which was supposed to be a non-smoking table, but they did anyway. Every time I called N40, all 4 would take a drag and blow it up at me. To this day I have no idea why.

My dad used to volunteer at the church bingo hall a ton. I would go. And I would win.

The looks I'd get when a 10 year old would beat out all the little old ladies....

I'm feelin' so good right now
There's a handsome boy, tells me how I changed his past
He buys me a brandy
But could it be, he's really just after my ass?

He likes the clothes I wear
He says he likes a man to dress in season
But no one else ever stares, he's being so kind
What's the reason?
...
It's all like a dream, you know when you're still up early in the morning
And you all sit together to watch the sun come through
But things don't look so good when you could use a bit of warning
Then you know that no one will ever speak the truth about you
...
How many friends have I really got?
That love me, that want me, that'll take me as I am?

Some people have a verbal filter. Some don't.

Some have a brain to keyboard filter. Some don't.

Last night was fun.

It's awesome when someone is cracking up so bad that they have a hard time talking.

Still going through a reread of Wheel of Time before I pick up the last book, and I'm only on Book 4. Lord help me. For those that don't know Memory of Light is Book 14 of this series and all the books are a good 1300 pages at least. Though I must say it has been a good ride going through the early days again.

Anyone else have anything good they're reading?

@SuperBowl talk: I haven't been this disineterested in a Bowl in years. I'm more looking forward to being at the Sabres game that afternoon than going home to watch the game that night.

@Bingo: Bingo dabbers are awesome. I got jokingly harassed by a bunch of little old ladies last time because I had 4 cards and they each had 10. How do they keep up with that nonsense?

And in typical fashion, we got a dusting in Amherst. Partially blue skies and no wind either. I miss the snowbelt. I miss the challenge.

Yeah same here. We usually get monster snow to the north of us from the Lake Ontario snow belt but little to no lake effect here. It was crazy last night because there were lake effect warnings to our south, which never happens...I check the weather map and it turned out it was a band from Lake Erie. I think Cooperstown got hit by that one.

Hmmm, the skies have gone dark and it's starting to snow here finally.
