My friend said SJ Sharks tickets are really cheap.
He was there during the Avs vs. Sharks right behind the goal
He said Sharks always say they have a sell out but looking around the arena he sees like 100s of empty seats.
IF the Sharks WERE to win the SCF it would be crazy out here

Even Montreal now has tickets available on game day and empty seats, which wasn't happening in the last 10 years or so.

Erskine just got away with an elbow on Simmonds. Interesting to see how the league handles this one...

"We can't concern ourselves with flagrant elbowing, we have to concentrate on phantom holding!"

anyone catch our buddy Antoine rousell just score a sick goal for Dallas. He played in Providence in 2010-2011, and was very unnoticeable out there. I guess in Texas he has been showing a little something.

I see they had two 5 on 3 pps. I posted in another thread the B's need to have a player just about killed to get a pp never mind a 5 on 3. I think I saw that the Leafs have had EIGHT 5 on 3s this year can that be true ?
With that skill how does that happen ?

Horrible officiating in the Blues-Red Wings game. Backes gets a match penalty for an illegal hit to the head...every replay shows he hit the other player in the chest, causing the Wings' player's head to snap back. The ref standing behind the play *assumes* there was a hit to the head and calls the penalty. Wings score on the PP.

aren't they currently looking at back to back shutouts if the current score holds up? I'm not sure I get the point. They've both now played good games?

I believe the mess is that it's Luongo that's had the shutout streak, not the "anoited" starter Schneider.
Schneider didn't play in the 3-0 Vancouver win over Colorado; Luongo got that start.
There goes the shutout anyhow. Patrick Kane scores for the Hawks. 1-1.

Oh, and hey, Tampa Bay...really?
8-3 win over the Peg.
Bolts are scoring a ridiculous clip of 5.29 goals per game.

Then you didn't try very hard to get the point.

I thought Scheider got the start last night which is why I was confused.

The call against Backes was terrible and lead to Datsyuk's GWG.

It was ridiculous. The officiating for most of that game was pretty deplorable. Apparently the main office agrees.
@Real_ESPNLeBrun: David Backes's major last night (for illegal hit to the head) has been rescinded by the NHL

Too bad they can't rescind the goal it lead to and the loss in a already tightened schedule.
****ing garbage.

Gotcha.
It is weird to think that Luongo playing well right now is actually creating problems for that whole organization.
They NEVER should have gone into the season with him on the roster.
Even better would be if both goalies start playing like crap.

Sabres were outshot 15-1 in the first against the Habs. Glad to see the Sabres so fired up after playing the Bruins.
