Out of curiousity, how long do people tend to make their draft lists? I have an ordered list about 85 players long so far, and if there's 15 teams and we're all picking 20 players, I imagine, I'd need a bare minimum of 300. However, it seems like to fill in certain positional needs, you might need a longer list in case you fill up on goalies, wingers, etc...

Can somebody tell me what a decent length for a draft list would be?

You won't need a draft list if you can get to a computer twice a day... If you can't, then by the time you submit your list, you'll be 11 picks away from yours, so 11 players should probably do it..

I think the more teams that we have in this lovely draft of ours the better....would make it THAT more challenging me thinks........HOWEVER that is not up fpr me to decide.......I'm just lucky to be a part it.

Cheers!

I'd be up to bring back the New York Rangers if you'll all have me.

There's a list of almost 300 players in the AllX2 Draft thread at the top of the forum.

If your list looks like the top 100 players list, you'll need a long list. If it looks like some players from throughout the draft, you might get by with a list of 85 players.

There's no chance you'll get Gretzky, Howe and Orr for your top 3 picks, but if you get one of them and hope for Bobby Clarke, Ken Dryden, or Red Kelly for your second, you might be in luck.

The last draft we picked 3 goalies, 7 defensemen, 13 forwards and a coach. 23 X 15 is 345 players.

I think I've already stated this but here it goes again....my team name will be the:

Hamilton Balistic Hockey Bandits

You can keep it as "Team Hamilton" for now if you'd like but when it comes time for me to draft my hockey club that will be the name of my hockey club...that will be the name of my team the I post on the forum along with the name of the player I select.

Thanks

I get to my computer twice every day, so I won't do lists, except some days I might have to submit short lists if I'll be away for a few hours.

I love to actually heem and hum and make my picks. Other can submit lists optionally if they will be away from their computers for a day or more.

Post totals don't mean knowledge. There are quite a few people on here with thousands of post that keep posting trash.

I doubt he's Don Cherry, but he could be!

I agree, but I have to question whether he would show up and look at the draft ever day when he really is a newbie. Plus Crosby=Gretzky...... ouch.

Ok then I have put all 23 rounds into an excel document so everyone should be able to access it all all times when they are near a computer. It appears as though i can't attach it though so if anyone would like a copy my e-mail address is fraserdunn@hotmail.com so just send an e-mail with a line of all time draft and I will be able to send that e-mail off with the document ASAP
