I don't know if you are watching the Zapruder film of the Cooke/Karlsson accident, but I see no stomp from any angle.

I support the theory of a second stomper.

(hmm, how can I turn a grassy knoll into something hockey related? )

Is there any word if Shanahan is looking at this?
The League is not looking into it, Reported by their twitter account.

He was trying to pin him against the boards by getting his left leg between Karlsson's like so many players do, but unfortunately his leg missed and when he put his skate back down it came down on Karlsson's ankle, there's no way that's intentional, that's deciding within a split second you're going to do that and even I don't think Matt Cooke will purposely cut someone's ankle with their skate.

Nhl.com the slo-mo but Scarface909 had a good explanation..as I said I havent played like them so I learn.

Edit: Watching it again I still think it looks awkward to do that. It doesn't look normal to me.

Next time you watch a NHL game, pay attention to how a player will attempt to pin the other, you'll see them doing the exact same thing Cooke did, it's a hockey play that just had an unfortunate result.

First "facemask" penalty I've seen called. Looked like the guy was face washing and they called it. Interesting.

So NSH and PHX can't score.

Both teams have had point blank wide open Net Shots.

NSH had two, It's still scoreless.

On NHL they have a sort of best assists ever compilation in their videos. It tilts me that Crosby is there for the time he received a pass crossing the blue line, and kicked it with his back skate up to his stick, then made a simple pass -> 1 timer -> goal. Its only there because of the way Crosby controls the puck, which is fine, but Kopitar did the EXACT same thing for the breakaway goal vs PHX in the playoffs, only he finished it undressing Smith, rather than making a basic pass, yet he got no recognition for it

Wow. This Rangers vs. Islanders game is crazy. Just watch the OT, intense! Visnovsky still has his offensive sense, he was making a lot of chances happen.

Avs just got robbed.

Rupp clearly pushed Jiggy into the net with the goal after Jiggy had the puck isolated. Total BS.

Why couldn't the Kings get the Howard that's playing the Ducks tonight. 4-2 in the 3rd

Watching the Flyers/Habs game, and the Flyers look very bad. They're a lifeless team that doesn't even look like they're good enough to qualify for the playoffs.

I think they have tuned out Lavi. That looks like a team that has shut the coach out.

Flyers will need to go like 22-10 to make the playoffs if they lose. They are probably done tbh

I hope Anaheim does win the division and I hope that we finish wherever it takes to play them in the first round.

They would have it, but I don't think it's a big deal. It's right down the freeway so both teams will feel like they're at home.
