Overall ive been pretty impressed by him. You can tell he is much better when he plays with better players. Also you can tell he looks to pass first. His defense isnt great, but it isnt bad. He is actually pretty good along the boards, a shifty guy.
He needs to work on his faceoffs, and bulk up a bit. Im not expecting him to become a sniper, but he has to learn to shoot more open . One thing I noticed is that every single time Kovy is on the ice with him, he passes it too him. Which could either be very good or bad depending on the situation.
Loktionov will play his best hockey in open ice. He just isn't big and strong enough for board play, which is a big part of the Kings' system.
