That was ****ing awesome. The words used weren't to entertain but sell the match. I'm completely sold. Shield was put over in a HUGE way right there. Rock spitting out blood and selling like a ****ing champ.

Probably the best segment the Rock ever had since his comeback.

That would have been a hot ending right there....but instead, we still have John Cena addressing the WWE Universe.

If Cena were to come out #1, the entire Rumble would be about him and that would suck. What makes the Rumble so damn good is the ebb/flow of the match.

We've got another beat the clock match, too.

I think I will end there that way I can be excited about the rumble instead of having a downer on the needless Cena hour.

Agreed. Rock got rid of the humour and was serious. Great promo from him.

He sold the Shield's attack well too.

Cena could crap out a unicorn on live TV and it still shouldn't close the show. Punk/Rock should have closed the show.

Right up there with his return promo in 2011 and his post-WM28 promo.

There's the final build for the Rumble. No jokes, straight build and it was great. The addition of The Shield and The Rock's selling, especially the latter, was masterful. Great stuff. That should have closed the show.

Agreed. If there was one problem with the entire thing, it was the cameras being a little too close up at times of The Rock getting beat down by The Shield, but at that point it's nitpicking.

Shield & Rock/Punk were incredible tonight. I don't think it was mentioned but the original Shield promo was freaking awesome, too.

I agree with everyone that Rock/Punk should have ended the show. You cannot follow that. You just can't.

Man... this Raw has really gotten good. I wish it would just end so I can be pumped up about the show. 35 + minutes more is worthless.

Exactly. Punk/Rock was a marvellous ending. Also, there isn't an excess of recaps.

Ziggler's going for 30...or 1 to steal the show and win it from there. Would be sweet if he won the Rumble, but that's not happening...
