Nonis is fixing Burke's mistakes, of which there were many. Dumping Lombardi & Connolly are good starts.

I'm also impressed they sent Rielly back down. I thought for sure the Leafs would pull another "Schenn": he'd play the year in the NHL as an 18 year old, get in over his head, and his development would be stalled. I'm impressed that the Leafs are taking their time with their shiny new toy.

When the Leafs signed Connolly, I could hardly contain my laughter. The guy had off/injured seasons and he still managed to get a raise. It was hilarious and a moment where you realize "wow. This team is ****ed."

My dads making me watch the ****ing football game over the Stars and Nucks which sucks because I want to see the Oilers fall. Even with 3 first overall picks, I wouldn't mind seeing them get a 4th to cement themselves as th biggest joke in pro sports history.

Konopka is playing pretty well for Minny...I know hes easily replaceable by O'Brien, but I will always respect that guy. The career path of guys like Neil and Konopka really shows heart. Not the most talented, but will literally bleed for their team.

Watching the Oliers-Canucks game, Edmonton are being very active in letting their D jump up. Petry and Schultz look dangerous. Whitney is smart. It seems to doing a good job using the talents of that cast of players. They're challenging a pretty solid D in Vancoiver.
