After a very slow, to say the least, first period. That's where it's amazing. You could see flashes during the last few minutes of the first period to foreshadow that we were going to come to play more in the second period. Boy we sure did!

We can't count on getting so many PP's each game to get going though... we need to improve 5 on 5 play...

Love that we are wearing the Green ones tonight. I cannot stand the red ones for some reason.

Playing Dallas always angers me. I just remember the Norm Green that interview he did for KSTP a few years ago and how arrogant he was. He still feels it was the right move and still feels it was justified. Norm Green sucks!

That Giroux goal was sick. So lucky I got him in fantasy league.

You are not alone. Red ones suck. And too many teams that I hate are also red. Not to mention half of the big ten now.

Didn't we score two PP and two ES? I do agree though, I think the 5v5 scoring chances need to increase. But, it was the FIRST game since April.

You need puck possession and cycling to score 5 on 5, both of which did not happen last night lol. Hope they figure that out tonight before they get hemmed in their own zone for eternity again. That was Prosser last night who passed it to Granlund in front of Backs huh? Granny instantly jumped from behind and then took a puck to te body because of that idiot and possibly saved a goal. I'm still laughing about that pass, like really dude? Like our dmen are scared of the puck and always playin hot potato. Plus he had Falk wide open next to him

Hartnell - Stafford was onesided until the last Staffords punch. Awesome game.

The first even strength goal was because of our faceoff prowess more than anything. Which in and of itself is awesome considering how bad this team always was at faceoffs in the DR years... it's good to finally have a good faceoff team!

All I want for my birthday is a Wild win. That and a lot of beer. Oh and also a new jacket, some beef jerky, a couple pairs of wool socks, a pair of slippers without holes in them, another copy of Predator on DVD because one is not enough, and a night of passionate sex with Blake Lively. Other than that though, all I want is a Wild win. Is that too much to ask?

Surprised no one mentioned Foster's assist on a shot from the point. Good on you Kurt.
