No Mitchell or Jones at #Avalanche practice. Lines 92-9-23, 15-26-12, 55-90-17, 11-40-58 for what it's worth
No Landeskog with ROR either that better be practice lines but then again it's Sacco.

I don't think we will play with those lines anyway.

Kobasew with Parenteau? Splitting ROR and Landy up again after three goals by Landy? McGinn with Bordeleau? No. Even Sacco wouldn't do that.

It's just a practice.

Because there isn't much room for debate. Pretty much universal that he has to go.

You are giving Sacco way too much credit

Sacco reads HF and he must know that his job is 100% safe. So he elects to troll us.

Hey #Avalanche fans don't read too much into today's lines. Without 7 and 54 it doesn't mean much
lol... Chambers must be reading this thread!

Duchene assisted on Landeskogs 3rd goal there (Last night it was shorthanded). Just FYI, probably shouldn't be used in argument to keep them together.

Honestly I'd be more worried about Sacco splitting up 15 & 9, if he does that he deserves to be ran over by a Zamboni, not just fired.

I keep seeing the Avs announce ticket giveaways & think about entering. So when the announce me as the winner at the game and show me on the jumbotron...

what it would be like if I whipped out a sign saying "SACK SACCO!" as soon as I'm on camera.

I don't know whether Martin is a great coach or not, but one thing I know for certain is that he was done in by an incompetent GM who went into panic mode and started throwing bodies overboard to try and save himself.

What young players under Martin were "killed?" Pacioretty? No. Subban? No. Desharnais? No. I don't know if Martin would be a great coach for us to have, but he would be a breath of fresh air compared to Sacco. I wouldn't cry if he were named our next head coach, though I think there are better candidates out there. I would probably take him over Ruff though. I do hope Martin gets another shot--he deserves one.

And I'm sorry, but the whole "Spezza debacle?" What was that, pray tell? The fact the little boy cried like a baby when he was told he needed some time in Binghamton to develop? Sure turned out to be the right thing to do.
Take it with a grain of salt but the fact remains that Georges played in the NHL for Martin, I see no reason for him to lie about anything he writes just to garner some heat on Martin

He's had his history of developing great young players but he's also had his history of taking the tough love approach which doesn't necessarily work all the time

How has no fan worn a paper bag to the Pepsi Centre yet?

I haven't even heard a FireSacco chant, ridiculous casual fans that attend those games or something.

I'm going to the Nashville game on the 30th... I just might do this.

You'll be drowned out by the chorus of Nashville fans chanting "Let's go Predators." Sad to say but after attending the Hawks game last night, it wouldn't surprise me.

That said, Sacco needs to be replaced as head coach. He is just not cutting it.

#7 has done surprisingly well.

I daresay he's over-achieved this year.

Should probably consider trading him at the deadline when his value is at its highest, depending on what is offered.

Well, let's be realistic here...I doubt there'll be enough Nashville fans in Denver to make a quartet, much less a chorus.

7 is a critical part to the team, because if they can somehow extend this losing streak from four games, to seven, it might put them in last place.

That's what i said in another thread . I dont want to trade him because he has been playing beyond my expectations , but lets face it , in a trade you should always sell high . Maybe we are seeing a career year and it's the right time to pull the trigger on a trade .

Mitchell is probably a better David Jones than David Jones is. Good skating, limited puck skills and a really nice shot.

Puck skills include more than just stickhandling.

Same could be said about PAP too.
Perhaps we should trade them both while they are at high values even though we just signed them. Both are above our "core" age group and will be on the wrong side of 30 when this team is finally ready to compete in 2-3 years.
By then our 2013 draft pick (probably 2014 top 10 pick too), Siemens, Sgarbossa, and Hishon will finally be up on the big team. Package one with Elliott and one with Stastny and we could get a defense man and a winger or something like that.
