Petry was solid, IMO lots of opposing teams fans will eat their words from trashing him over the years.

He needs to start shooting.

The Ebs-RNH-Hall has been rubbish for the first, can't regain puck possession to save their life. RNH has pretty much been the worst player on the ice, it's not the wjc any more!

The 2nd line has been ok, a few good shifts, Yak looks ok but he is clearly nervous, always looking for the pass. You got one of the best shots in the league use it.

Petrell's pretty much been our best player and that line acutally looks like an ok checking line at times.

The Horcoff line has been meh, Harti looks lost and the old men works hard but hasn't been able to sustain any pressure.

I don't think Potter has been all that bad, not worse than anyone else on d, both Petry and Smid has looked a bit confused at times and Whitney skates as awkwardly as last season. The Schultz boys has looked the best though N took a stupid shot and penalty. J looks like a star in the budding.

Doubt we'll ever have any play off success with Dubnyk as #1. He's just pure butterfly, can't do anything outside of getting down on his knees and use his size.

But this is just the first period of the first game so plenty of hockey to go and improve!!!

Agreed, Schultz was more composed and was playing his game quite well.

Hemsky never learns. He always holds the puck a couple of seconds too long.

Thanks Don't usually post here cause I only get the radio feed from EDM. I can actually watch now! Anyway, Yeah Schultz looks pretty composed and can play his game right now. Big shot just now.

Yakupov I think will get into it in a few shifts, I think we will see the effectiveness kick in.
