Burrows again by far the worst player on the ice for the Canucks.

I meant on the powerplay, although Kassian on 5on5 might be interesting. Burrows needs to wake up some so the Sedins can get going.

Ballard needs a couple of good periods or I think we're going to see a new partner for Tanev against Calgary.

How well did MG's previous 1st round trade go ?

You are seeing it. (Ballard)

Kassian was last year, he reads the play well and can dish the puck. I'm happy with him as a prospect.

If you were hoping for a bonafide 2nd liner for Hodgson it was doubtful we'd get that in return for him.

Besides that one turnover I thought Ballard played really well.

Don't know why people are ragging on Kassian, I thought he looked very good that period. He needs to be playing with Lapierre, they look good together. Or at least not with Ebbett.

still, i'd actually like to see hansen there.

i think hansen deserves a bigger role this season. and hes been looking good, why not throw him more PP time while the others are injured. hes not even on that 2nd PP line :/

Because he put a weak shot on net and since then Hodgson fanboys have claimed Kass has no hockey sense for shooting the puck on net.

Send a message via AIM to y2kcanucks
Only Dale Weise has less ice-time than Ebbett tonight, and of our 4 centers Ebbett ranks last in ice-time.

The argument about that trade went the same way. So if you are right I will gladly eat crow.

Grabner has an assist tonight

After seeing the replay, I actually think that Edler goal was offside.

Not a fan of the canucks marketing of "We are all Canucks" ripped off from a collage marketing scheme that has been in operation for nearly 20 years. Someone in marketing got lazy and cheeky

Not many were overly happy with the Ballard trade in the first place

Hansen has been on the powerplay with the Sedins. He's been good but lacks the creativity to really jell with them.

The problem or challenge Kassian is going to have is balancing all his skills.

Last night when many people were complaining about his play i watched the replay of the game. Didnt notice him a ton but what i did notice was he was get in front of the net a good bit along with the rolling puck he missed on and the nice wrap around attempt.

What i did notice too was hes has zero help on that line.

He was doing many things right
