I changed 2 of my picks. I'm going with Rampage and Pettis. I was worried Rampage would struggle to make weight again, but this is looking good. I'm still not convinced Glover is ready for this big of a step up yet. I'll definitely know soon though.
Haha, yeah I know, Glover is a massive favourite. But seriously, he hasn't fought anyone in the same universe as Rampage yet. Even if Rampage isn't Rampage anymore.

If Rampage wants to actually fight some place else, he cannot afford to lose. A fighter who lost his last 4 UFC fights isn't going to draw any money in any other organization whether its MMA or boxing. I think Rampage's back is against the wall more than Glover at this point.

He won't draw any money but Bellator will bring him in at first chance.

Nope.
For one, this would only be his third loss in a row.
Second, he instantly becomes the most marketable and probably highest paid non-ufc guy the minute his contract is done, win or lose. Will he make UFC money? No. But he'll be in a good spot still if he loses.
This is going to be a tough night potentially for me to watch. John Dodson is the only 125lb guy with KO power so I am really hoping he pulls off the upset.
Rampage is my favorite Pride-era guy. My first UFC live was him KOing Chuck. I like Glover as well but again I'll be cheering for the upset.
Pettis is my favorite 155er and favorite ex-WEC guy, although I do like Cerrone too. Hope Pettis is impressive.

So I got the amount in a row wrong. To me, he'll be a past his prime guy who is only in it for the cash and hasn't won a fight since mid 2011.
If he loses, his star will continue to fade. He can't hope to to lose and still be viewed as a star in the fight business.

Of course he's a past his prime guy only in it for the cash, he'll be the first to tell you that. That doesn't mean he still isn't going to have some ways to make money in MMA. He'll headline small MMA shows and knock out a few cans. Maybe fight and wrestle in Bellator vs King Mo as they've had beef.
What he's not is a guy who has lost four in the row that won't make any money in MMA. He could fight in OneFC and headline every event for five years if he feels like it.

I was a little surprised Russow was as big a favorite as he was (although I think it came down closer to the fight), but after that first round I thought I was getting a very clear indication as to why. It honestly seemed like every single shot he threw landed. Wow did Jordan look terrible. Credit to him for weathering the storm and getting the win though.
Heck of a softball the UFC lobbed Bader's way. I'm ok with it cause he needed a win, but it's probably time for The Janitor to hang 'em up.

Rampage will be a HUGE draw outside of the UFC. The UFC knows this so my guess is as long as he doesn't look absolutely atrocious they try real hard to keep him around. He's still one of their most popular fighters. I'm not saying it's likely, but could you imagine say a Rampage-Fedor fight? That would be one of the biggest fights in the history of the sport.
