I made myself thin at goalie where it was the strength of my team and my strategy going in but I really needed some help on offense, especially on the power play. It was tough to let Varly go but the opportunity was there to fix my problem so I took it. Now just praying Rinne can stay healthy all year. From IU perspective, no way he was going anywhere without bringing in a good goalie with strong No. 1 status now. He had a number of droppable guys on the wing so Stafford will give him some depth there.
I am really happy to trade Stafford though, not because of the player he is but because I ****ed up horribly by taking him over Pominville. Every time I looked at his name on my team I just thought about that wrong decision I made. How did I not know Pominville was still out there? Now I don't have to beat myself up about it anymore. Of course Pit Pony was right on it and gobbled Pominville up. There is a reason that guy is in first, very good player, played with him in the free league two years ago and lost in the championship to him. Matter of fact, I think he has beaten me every single time I have ever played him.
Down 2 PPP and 3 helpers, but still have Malkin, St. Louis, Carle, Hedman, Purcell, and Nash vs brtriad's Taylor Hall. Liking my chances, but expecting my team to underperform and definitely **** the bed tonight.
You'll probably come back and destroy me, but how do you like that start ColdSteel!? 3 minutes into this week I already have 2 goals, 1 of them being a PP goal and an assist. Giggity!

Oh, and a +2 with you being at -2...
I was watching my phone when that happened. It's going to be a battle. I'm not sure what is going with my +/-, was great the first week then just took a dive, probably my guys teams getting most of their goals on the PP except not so much my guys doing it.
