I'm also not a fan of how Yakupov's play has translated to the NHL. It seems like he ends up at the blueline in the offensive zone and just seems to float. I think that the Oilers coaches should work with him on that because he's providing little support to his linemates.
After looking at new threads tonight on main board (about Bryz and Oilers)... I can see things will get real ugly for us on the main board if either of Reimer/Scrivens gets lit up in the first 10 games.
Sad part is this can happen as early as in next 20 hours. Hopefully, Carlyle's defensive system is well in place now.

He's a scout's dream in the way he prepares himself and plays an unselfish game, making smart decisions with the puck. With his bloodlines, he certainly understands what it will take to make it at the next level.
