Five defenseman had points tonight. That is a rare achievement.

Those ripping backstop playing hak line - isn't up 3 late in the third when you want to roll 4 lines? Ps - they had a great shift at games end.

Nice win!!

Consolation time for the Cousins line for the last few seconds.

How obvious is it that VV is absolute ****. He may be worse than ManDog at this point

He's useful on the PK, but that's basically it.

In the last two months Schenn has 27 points (14G & 13A) in 26 games.

Pens play Caps tomorrow. Hopefully the game in hand is a loss. Then we'll be even in games and down 3

Start getting used to it

Great game from Giroux despite the late game turnover. Looked excellent on the PK, PP, 5v5 and the 4v4. Dont know his numbers on the dot tonight but he usually kills that. Schenn with one of his most dangerous nights, could have had 5 goals tonight if the first counted (his glove was clearly behind his leg pad which was clearly behind the line and the puck hit his glove) and also if he scored on that breakaway chance. Loved the effort tonight except for that minute or so in the 3rd. Refs were brutal as usual, but good game overall. Happy with the results

That was really fun.

When Giroux laid out that Flame in his own zone early on you just knew he was dialled in tonight... and this was one of those nights he was rewarded heavily on the scoreboard for his great play.

I love AL on the post game show. Very straight to the point and tells it how it is without putting sprinkles on it.

G line Read and Streit were the only guys playing well that game. AMac was bad AMac, but Hak seems to trust him which should help his confidence going into next game. It seemed like he got double shifted a lot within 5mins. Really don't understand why Cousins line doesn't play more. They should get the O zone starts that Hak line with Gudas get after every icing. It sickens me

You have to wonder if the pre game ceremony juiced him up a bit. He was in rare form indeed!

I'd be fine with the Hak line if you swap out VV for Leier. VV has literally 0 offense skill. Stone hands.

VV is certainly awful. One good shift late in the game doesnt change that, but id prefer to have Leier finish the season strong in LHV unless injuries.

If VV scores a total of 5 goals on the season or hits 20 points I will single handily get a naked drunken in public.

He had 15 points (7G & 8A) in 34 games in the previous three months (October, November, & December) prior to that.
