"My player doesn't dive, he just falls down a lot"

when did this become a viable excuse?

Raymond and Hartnell fall down when nobody touches them, if you want someone to be put in this class of players, I want video evidence of them falling with no one around. There are a couple exceptions, but it just seems to be a default excuse now.

and it's not like Raymond hasn't dived or embellished before

Detroit just tied up tonight's game with Columbus on a powerplay they had because of a pretty blatant Abdelkaider dive.

Didn't that same guy draw a suspension for the guy hitting him on a dive last preseason?

Anyone else catch that Pominville dive today on JVR? Now I'm starting to understand why he has a rep.

There are plenty of players with bad balance.

Brown is another example of a player who does both - dives a lot and has poor balance

Not sure what this means, but if you are going to start that nonsense, then you had better get ESPN classic and watch the last 60 years of international hockey in order to seek the truth, which is obviously eluding you at this point.

As I said before, I understand that some players do have poor balance issues, but it just seems like too many people are using it as a excuse for why their player isn't a diver

Can see Ovie's diving actually becoming a problem for the Caps.

Mike Fisher just had a brutal dive that drew a Justin Faulk penalty.

Carolina is making sure they keep their crown as diving queens. Eric Staal had a beauty tonight. Even stayed on the ground a bit to make sure it sold.

You mean the one where he was clearly hit from behind? Come on now.

I don't think Pominville has a rep of diving. You sure your not thinking of Derek Roy?

Anyone see Burish add a little extra to Smyth's push to the back of his head (led to a roughing penalty)?

TSN had it in slow mo.. pretty funny. He deserves to get called out for it tho.

Goalies embellish when they get hit, its just a fact.

I remember Henrik flying into the back of the net in game 2 of the ECF when he was barely touched by Poni. Most goalies will go down when theres slight contact, so Marty does it a few times a year. #goalietendencies

Red Wings players against Columbus. That was a joke. Refs are calling penalties all over the place right now cause of guys that dive, they should wake the Hell up and realise this. This are usualy better than this.

Does anyone dive more than Dustin Brown?

Actual question. Is there any other player in the league who dives more?
